Six!

This pop star musical featuring the 6 ex wives of Henry the VIII has really launched itself into the publics hearts recently and is a super one for representing the power of women. With some fantastic and very cleverly written songs this modern musical really appeals to the tastes of today (in other words all the Swifties out there!) one of my favorite numbers is ' Don't Loose your head' sung by the sassy rebel queen Anne Boleyn. From the glitz and glamour of the costumes to the upbeat funky rhythms of the songs this musical certainly has it all. For those who prefer a more classic musical you may be a little disappointed only in the way that the show somewhat lacks a traditional plot line and instead takes on the form of a series of short monologues delivered through song some might say at times it resembles a pop concert but I still really appreciated the cleverly written lyrics with some accurate historical facts woven in and some brilliantly executed dance routines.
